Come on out for Oregon’s LARGEST small town parade on Saturday, July 26th in historic downtown Dallas!

This year's theme is "Mardi Gras Masquerade"

As the latest in a series of parades dating back over 100 years, we expect a crowd of between 15,000 and 20,000 people to see our two-mile long procession of over 165 entries including; floats, musical groups, animals, antique tractors, antique and modern military vehicles, horse-drawn vehicles, collector cars, mermaids, and much, much more!

The Parade starts at 11:00 am. Come down early to reserve your spot and the kids will enjoy Pre Parade events beginning at 10:00 am, including; sidewalk chalk art (free chalk!), street performers, balloons and Under The Sea themed entertainment.

If you want to be in the Parade,
you can download an entry form from this webpage.

Decorate yourself and come on down!

There is not a right or a wrong way to build a float.  Let your creativity guide you:

A Few Tips

Keep the weather in mind when building your float.

Make sure the objects on your float are secure.

If you will be having people ride on your float, be sure that they have something stable to hold on to.

Know the route that your float will be taking. Keep in mind overpasses, hills, curves, etc. that may affect your float.
